5:00 AM – 5:40 AM: Pick-up at your Accommodation
We start the day early to ensure you don’t miss the breathtaking sunrise at the Tatio Geyser, the largest geyser field in the southern hemisphere and the third-largest in the world. A journey to this natural wonder awaits you.
Buffet Breakfast at the Geothermal Field
As the sun begins to illuminate the horizon, we invite you to enjoy a buffet breakfast surrounded by the majesty of the geothermal field. The combination of the cool morning temperatures and the nearby hot springs creates a unique atmosphere to satisfy your senses.
Cactus Canyon Viewpoint
After savoring a delicious breakfast, we will head to the Cactus Canyon Viewpoint. From here, you can take in panoramic views of the stunning surrounding landscape. The natural beauty and energy of the place will envelop you as you observe the desert in its purest state.
Exploring Machuca
After taking in the grandeur of the landscape, we will make our way to Machuca, a charming Andean village. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to meet and learn about local life and culture. Explore its cobblestone streets, discover the adobe houses, and immerse yourself in the authenticity of life in the Andes.
12:00 PM – End of the Tour
After a day filled with exploration, knowledge, and memorable moments, We will conclude our day and take you back to the city center of San Pedro de Atacama. Take with you the images and experiences of this spectacular sunrise at the Tatio Geyser and the connection with the culture in Machuca.

- ¿Cuál es la altitud máxima que se alcanza en esta excursión?La altitud máxima alcanzada es de 4200 m. Para una buena aclimatación, te recomendamos comer liviano y beber mucha agua los días previos a la excursión. Debido a la altitud, te recomendamos dejar esta actividad para el final de tu estadía en San Pedro de Atacama.
- ¿Qué días del año se realiza esta excursión?Esta excursión se realiza todos los días del año, a excepción de los días 1 de enero y 25 de diciembre.
- ¿En qué tipo de vehículo se realiza esta actividad?Mercedes-Benz Sprinter (o similar) para 16 personas,
- ¿Con cuánta anticipación debo reservar la actividad?Recibimos reservas hasta con 48 horas de anticipación. No obstante, los cupos son limitados y siempre están sujetos a disponibilidad, por lo que recomendamos realizar la reserva con la mayor antelación posible.
- ¿En qué consiste el desayuno?El desayuno incluye té, café, leche, jugo, pan, jamón, queso y mermelada.
- ¿Me puedo acercar a las fumarolas?No es recomendable acercarse a las fumarolas, ya que corres el riesgo de caer en agua hirviendo. Por esto, el lugar cuenta con senderos delimitados que debes respetar para evitar accidentes.
- ¿Es posible bañarse en el pozón rústico?Sí, es posible, siempre y cuando el pozón rústico esté habilitado, cosa que se sabe durante la visita, una vez que se está en el campo geotérmico. Por esto, te recomendamos igualmente llevar traje de baño, toalla y sandalias.
- ¿A qué se debe la restricción de edad para la actividad?La restricción de edad de este tour es definida por la comunidad administradora del parque, no existiendo posibilidad de excepciones.
